“Staying in this treehouse is a one-of-a-kind experience. The small details and finishing touches make it special and unique, a “home away from home”. It is clear it was created with love. The property is amazing, there are hiking trails walking distance from the treehouse where we saw elk. There were deer around the treehouse often. There are 2 beautiful horses on site as well. The pond was alive with fish and an otter. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Debbie as she was away, but Mike was very friendly and accommodating, often checking how things were and if we needed anything else. We will definitely be back! Be sure to check out the carvings inside and out. We also enjoyed reading the guestbook by the fireplace and making our own entry. What a beautiful space! Highly recommend and will be back."”

“If you want to get away from it all and have a unique experience, this is the place to be.  Quite and beautiful, a weekend here is not enough.  Bring your camera and be prepared to see lots of wildlife.  I had an up close experience with a beautiful hummingbird.  We met eye to eye as if he had to make sure I was ok to be in his space.  One of the most special 20 seconds in my life.  Unforgettable.  From the balcony we quietly observed, deer, a coyote hunting, wild turkeys, osprey, eagle, squirrels, hummingbirds, and you can even watch the fish swimming in the pong.  Stayed up late one evening and saw hundreds of fireflies flickering around the pond and clearing.  The tree house is outstanding and unique.  Sleep comes easily in the cozy loft bedroom, with the windows open and the comfy bed, you will soon fall into a deep slumber.  The tree house has a functional kitchen, with a bbq out on the deck.  There is a fully functional shower/bathroom.   And down below there is an fire pit by the pond to sit and relax or roast some hot dogs and marshmallows.    The best part of this little gem is the lack of man made noise.  It is so relaxing to be surrounded by the sounds of nature and to wake up to them every morning.   Just pack your clothes, food, and drinks and book your stay at Outa The Woods Treehouse.  You won't regret it.  Thanks to our hosts Debbie and Mike.”

“This Treetop oasis really shows pride in ownership, very clean, well maintained and full of character. The stairs may not be ideal for everyone, but the craftsmanship & details provide endless charming discoveries. Mike & Debbie were friendly and excellent hosts from start to finish. A perfect setting if you are looking for R & R. We also enjoyed the hiking trails, they were well marked and provided a extra punch of nature & a mountain view. Loved our stay!”

“Debbie and Mike are incredible hosts. We needed to postpone our trip because of COVID, and they were so helpful and accommodating! We had a lovely time enjoying the peace and quiet and exploring the treehouse. The treehouse itself was very quaint and super eco-friendly! Being from Alberta, we were able to pay a small fee for Debbie and Mike's supplied firewood instead of having to buy some regional wood before we arrived. We had a chance to enjoy a firefly night show while we sat by the fire. Mike checked us in and gave us some local tips for places to kayak and hike. We were able to do everything with the time we had, so we will just have to come back! Thank you so much, Debbie and Mike! We look forward to returning.”

“This was an amazing experience. The Treehouse itself is spectacular, the design, the little touches here and there. We were still finding little carvings after our third day. These hosts didn't miss anything in creating this unique experience. We hiked the trails around us, floated on the private lake for hours and Mike gave us a great tip to try out nearby biking trails. The most peaceful and relaxing getaway. We will definitely be back!!”

“What a wonderful spot! So serene and beautiful. We truly enjoyed our days sitting on the deck or on the dock, or padding around the lake. Being so immersed in nature was just what we were looking for and we were lucky enough to see deer and turtles. The personal touches in the cabin and hand made carvings were really neat. Mike and Debbie were great hosts and were quick to respond to communications and were available if we needed anything.”

“WOW! The Wildwood cabin was the perfect secluded get away. Stunning views, wildlife and ABSOLUTE SILENCE! The cabin has everything you need and it is clear to see that Mike and Debbie have put a lot of thoughtful work into this rustic cabin retreat. Thanks again for creating such a beautiful space!”

“What an amazing getaway! Everything has been thought of. The cabin was amazing, the view and serenity are hard to express in words. We would definitely return. Feels like something you would see in a movie, it was surreal. The host were amazing what a great way to recharge your batteries”

“Great view and very quiet. Was a great getaway from the daily grind. The cabin was just what we were looking for and the outhouse was really nice. The shower was a nice touch. It was so relaxing to sit out every night and hear nothing but nature and peacefulness. We also saw lots of wildlife. The only thing we would say that needs to be upgraded is the 2 queen beds. Both were quite uncomfortable. Other than that we have nothing but good memories and would recommend this place to anyone.”
